Truthset Achieves SOC 2 Compliance, Solidifying Commitment to Data Security and Integrity

Truthset is excited to announce we have achieved System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 2 compliance. The SOC 2 certification shows that Truthset has met the highest standards of data security and integrity.

SOC 2 compliance is based on the rigorous Trust Services Criteria (TSC) set by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), and is a testament to Truthset's commitment to safeguarding client data. The evaluation focuses on five key TSC:

  1. Security: Ensuring that data and systems are protected from unauthorized access or breaches.

  2. Availability: Guaranteeing that services are available for operation as agreed upon.

  3. Processing Integrity: Certifying that data processing is accurate, complete, and timely.

  4. Confidentiality: Protecting sensitive information from unauthorized disclosure.

  5. Privacy: Managing personal information in accordance with privacy policies and regulations.

“Truthset is bringing big data into the future, helping industry-leading providers such as Experian, Transunion, and Epsilon validate their greatest assets,” said Kathryn Barnitt, Head of Data Science at Truthset, who spearheaded the certification process. “SOC 2 compliance is an essential milestone for us as a company and is a crucial achievement on our journey to raise the bar for data accuracy. This initiative was a massive undertaking, and I want to sincerely thank the entire Truthset team for the collaborative effort taking this across the finish line.”

Truthset will continue to uphold the SOC 2 standards, conducting regular assessments and audits to ensure ongoing compliance. Clients can trust that their data validation needs are met with the highest level of security and integrity in the industry.
